At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Joyce Martin
Joyce A. Martin, 68, St. Marys, OH died 10:45 p.m. Tuesday September 8, 2015 at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born October 11, 1946 in Clairfield, TN to Harrison and Harriet (Weaver) Vanover. On January 14, 1963, she married Robert G. Martin, who died July 15, 2000.
Survivors include: son "Butch" (Deb) Martin of Celina, OH; 3 grandsons: Randy Martin, Tony Martin, Walter Cook; 4 great-grandchildren: Quinton Martin, Robert Martin, Alexys Cook, Fletcher Cook; brother Robert (Betty) Vanover of Celina, OH; brother Verlin Vanover of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Harrison and Harriet Vanover; husband Robert Martin; brother Bill Vanover.
She was a licensed practical nurse, having worked at Celina Manor for many years. Joyce was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who dearly loved caring for her family.
Rites are scheduled to begin 10:30 a.m. Saturday September 12, 2015 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys, with Pastor A.J. Hamblin, officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery in rural Celina, OH.
Visitation 4 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
