Kevin Bittinger, far right, stands with his honor guard unit. He served in the Air Force for nearly six years before dying in May. Bittinger's family is planning a "5K Veterans Memory Run/Walk" in his memory and for all military personnel on Oct. 25 at the Veterans Memorial Park in Wapakoneta.
