Marguerite Spencer
Marguerite (Margie) Spencer, age 73, a resident of Decatur, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at her home.
Marguerite was born on September 14, 1942, in Celina, Ohio, the daughter of Richard P. Romer and Mary F. (Harlett) Arner.
She worked at CTS in Berne, Jay Garment Co. in Portland. She also worked at Village Green Restaurant in Decatur and Walgreens in Ft. Wayne .
Marguerite was married to Larry Spencer on September 27, 1963 and he passed away November 21, 2011.
Survivors include: 2 Sisters: Nancy Benien – Decatur, Indiana; Darlene Clay (husband - William) – Yukon, Oklahoma; 1 Brother: Robert Romer (wife - Lorene) – Union City, Ohio; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2 – 6 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Kris McPherson will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
Memorials may be directed towards Heartland Hospice.
