Chainsaw sculptor Tim Kuenning on Friday morning applies a coat of varnish to the bottom of a cardinal sculpture. Mike Hibner, New Bremen park superintendent, steadies the piece before it is installed on a stump near the New Bremen pool. The sculpture was donated by the New Bremen Sons of the American Legion to the village.
