Auglaize County prisoners transferred due to construction
CELINA - The Mercer County Sheriff's Office is housing Auglaize County inmates while sewer pipes are repaired at the 17-year-old Wapakoneta jail.
As of Tuesday morning, 29 Auglaize County prisoners were among the 102 inmates in Mercer County's jail, Sheriff Jeff Grey said.

An Ohio charity is spreading Christmas joy to foster children in Mercer County this holiday season.
Bike Lady Inc., a volunteer charity from Columbus, recently delivered eight new bikes, helmets and bike locks to Mercer County Department of Job and Family Services for children in foster care.
