* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1036 PM EDT, emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Sidney, Bellefontaine, Newport, West Liberty, Anna, Fort Loramie, De Graff, Quincy, Port Jefferson, Valley Hi, Zanesfield, Maplewood, Pemberton, Logansville, Mcmorran, Swanders, Pickrelltown, New Jerusalem and Lake Loramie State Park.

Rita Westgerdes
Rita A. Westgerdes, age 86, of Coldwater, died on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Celina Manor.
She was born March 18, 1929 in Coldwater to the late Peter John & Mary Elnora (Schmalstig) Obringer. On August 21, 1954 she married Raymond H. Westgerdes and he died February 13, 2010.
She is survived by seven children, Alan & Joyce Westgerdes of Coldwater, Gary & Vicky Westgerdes of Celina, Larry & Denise Westgerdes of Celina, Mary Westgerdes & Randy Clune of Chickasaw, Matthew Westgerdes of Celina, Joe & Lynette Westgerdes of Van Wert and Carl & Cindy Westgerdes of Coldwater; 16 grandchildren; and a sister-in-law Sr. Elizabeth Westgerdes C.PP.S. of Dayton.
She is preceded in death by a grandson, siblings Wilfred & Louise Obringer and Lester Obringer; and in laws, Edward & Lucille Westgerdes, Robert & Norma Westgerdes, John & Ginny Westgerdes, Vincent Westgerdes and Maryann & Bernard Sampson.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, the St. Ann's Rosary Sodality of the church and the Coldwater V.F.W. Post #5135 Auxiliary.
She graduated from the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing and worked at Mercer County Community Hospital and Briarwood Manor in Coldwater. She was also a local Avon representative.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to the State of the Heart Hospice.
