Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

CELINA - Mercer County Commissioners are considering committing to a solar project to power five county facilities on state Route 29 and Mud Pike.

CELINA - After a tough outing the night before, the Celina girls basketball team looked to bounce back Tuesday night on Senior Night against a solid Crestview squad.
The Bulldogs and Knights battled back and forth for 32 minutes. In the end, Paige Motycka's jumper with 26 seconds to go and Emily Bauer's free throws with four seconds left lifted Crestview past Celina 52-49 at the Fieldhouse. [More]
