Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

William Joseph Maehlman of Union Twp. age 83.
Beloved husband of Maria T. Maehlman (nee Sieve). Loving father of Daniel C. Maehlman (Robyn), Diana Maehlman-Studt (Clinton), the late Douglas Maehlman. Step-father of Christina Sieve-Weinel (Daniel), Robert Rutherford III (Melissa), Franklin Rutherford, and Joseph Rutherford.
Born January 26, 1933 to Charles and Helen Nurrenbrock Maehlman in Celina, Ohio.
Brother of the late Sr. Carol Maehlman. Grandfather of Kristin Billger, Kari Holdren, Kati Holdren, Kyleigh Studt, Hadley Maehlman, Douglas Court Maehlman, Franklin Rutherford, Gibson Rutherford, Christian Rutherford, Aaron Roth, Ian Weinel, Caden Weinel and the late Justin Roth and the late Adyn Elliott. Great-grandfather of Cameron Robertson, Anthony Sinopoli, Devon Denny and Maddison Wisecup.
Passed February 1, 2016 in Eastgate, Ohio.
Family will receive friends 9:30 AM Monday, Feb. 8, 2016 at St. Veronica Church 4473 Mt. Carmel Tobasco Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45244 until 10:30 AM Mass of the Christina Burial.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Celina, Ohio at 3 PM.
Memorials are preferred to Hospice of Cincinnati.
