Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Wade Gelhaus and the 15th-ranked Saginaw Valley State Cardinals clinched the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference North Division championship on Saturday with an 80-72 victory over Michigan Tech.
Gelhaus, a Fort Recovery product, tallied seven points, six rebounds, one assist and a steal in the win. The Cardinals will look to do some more damage in the post season. They have also secured a home game in the GLIAC tournament. [More]

Large crowd turns out at Celina meeting
