Fog has developed early this morning in the wake of recent rainfall. Visibility reductions around 1 mile or less are being observed, and some patchy dense fog cannot be ruled out.
When encountering fog, be sure to turn on low beam headlights, slow down, and increase following distance.

4-H'ers get ready for fair

Many local 4-H members are busy preparing animal projects for this year's Mercer County Fair Aug. 12-18. Carter Hellwarth, a fifth-grader at Immaculate Conception School in Celina, gives his Brown Bovan chicks some feed Monday afternoon after school. A total of 920 youths are enrolled in various Mercer County 4-H clubs this year, said Jill Ellis with the Mercer County OSU Extension office.
