Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Volunteers help clean up lake

Members of The Ohio State University Alumni organization pick up trash on Saturday morning around and in Grand Lake near the lighthouse in Celina. Volunteers turned out for Ohio Department of Natural Resources' Volunteer Cleanup Days. The event involved crews collecting trash in the West Bank, East Bank and Windy Point areas.
