MARION LOCAL - Sixty-two seniors will receive diplomas during a commencement ceremony at 1 p.m. Sunday in the high school gymnasium.
This year's valedictorian is Derek Pierron, son of Nick and Amy Pierron. He plans to attend Wright State University to study pre-optometry.
Division IV District Softball Championship
WAPAKONETA - Two Midwest Athletic Conference champions took to the softball diamond at Wapakoneta High School on Friday.
Only one of those teams could leave the field as district champion.

The Celina girls track team captured the Division I district championship in a close battle with Lima Senior and Fremont Ross on Friday at Frost-Kalnow Stadium in Tiffin.
