Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

Area high school football teams are getting ready for the start of the season with camps and 7-on-7 scrimmages. Seven-on-seven features quarterbacks, running backs and receivers competing against linebackers and secondary players on defense in a no-tackle competition. Celina hosted Parkway, Greenville and Wayne Trace in competition on Friday at the Bulldogs' football practice field. The first official day of practice for football and other fall sports is Aug. 1.
