* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity combined with very warm low temperatures can be especially hazardous as the overnight hours provide little relief from the heat. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

George Hart
      George P. Hart, 95, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on August 13, 2016, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born September 27, 1920, in Fort Recovery, OH, to the late Thomas and Dora (Rammel) Hart. On May 13, 1947, in St. Henry, Ohio, he married the late Anna (Quinter) Hart, who died March 16, 2007.
       Surviving are his children, Dale (Kathy) Hart of Celina, OH, Doris (Bill) Grieshop of Yorkshire, OH, Marlene (Robert) Nash of Ridgeville, IN, Mark (Dutch) Hart of Portland, IN, Paul (Joyce) Hart of Coldwater, OH, Eileen (Dave) Wendel of Fort Recovery, Norma (Gary "Pete") Pottkotter of Fort Recovery, Larry (Missy) Hart of Fort Recovery, and Harold (Beth) Hart of Fort Recovery; his siblings, Alfred (Donna) Hart of Celina, OH, Ann Berning of Minster, OH, and Leo (Dorothy) Hart of Fort Recovery; 24 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Hart of St. Henry; a brother-in-law, Andrew Hemmelgarn of St. Henry; and a sister-in-law, Jean Hart of St. Henry.
       Preceding him in death are a son, Carl Hart, brothers, Linus (Emma) Hart and John Hart, and sisters, Mary Catherine (Clarence) Quinter and Margaret Hemmelgarn.
       George retired from New Idea and from farming. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3324, Fort Recovery, and was a fourth degree member of the St. Gasper del Buffalo Assembly, Minster, OH. He was also a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, Ohio and its Holy Name Society. No one was a stranger to George, he had a giving heart and a commendable work ethic. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
       Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, Ohio, Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Sharpsburg, Ohio.
        Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio. A Knights of Columbus prayer service will be held at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
