CELINA - Drought conditions ruled Mercer County and the region - until fair time came.
The week saw steady rain, spotty rain, heavy rain, sprinkles and occasionally a little sunshine to welcome fairgoers.

WAPAKONETA - Officials are looking at possible improvements to the fairgrounds before the 2017 Auglaize County Fair.
