Livestock grand, reserve champions sell at auction

The reserve champion pen of broilers, shown by Lassies & Lads 4-H member Nathan Marchal, son of Tom and Lucy, sold Thursday at the Mercer County Fair for $1,050 to a group including State Sen. Keith Faber, Mercer County Treasurer Dave Kaiser, Mercer County Auditor Randy Grapner, Mercer County Recorder Angie King, U.S. Rep. Warren Davidson, Mercer County Probate Judge Mary Pat and Tom Zitter and Stewart Seeds/Ben Schleucher.
