* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize and Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 415 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 110 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, New Knoxville, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Carthagena and Maria Stein.

* Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Northeastern Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* Until 400 PM EDT.
* At 108 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Anna, Jackson Center, Botkins, New Knoxville, Kettlersville, Montra, Mccartyville and Maplewood.

At 1258 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Anna, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Sidney, Minster, Anna, Fort Loramie, Jackson Center, Botkins, Hardin, Port Jefferson, Kettlersville, Montra, Newbern, Lake Loramie State Park, Maplewood, Mccartyville, Swanders, and Bloom Center.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 87 and 107.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.

Helen Staugler
Helen L. Staugler, 98, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on November 21, 2016, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio.
She was born October 6, 1918, in Palestine, OH, to the late Harvey and Lula (Fitzwater) Arnett. On May 18, 1946, she married the late Harold Staugler, who died January 1, 1983.
Surviving are three children, Jim (Linda) Staugler of Davenport, FL, Tom (Vicki) Staugler of Fort Recovery, Janet (Dave) Roessner of Fort Recovery; nine grandchildren, Julie, Andrew, Alex, Jacqueline, Angela, Douglas, Nikki, Kelli and Tony and 19 great grandchildren.
Helen was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by her brother, Harold (Margaret) Arnett, a sister, Lois (Lalen) Hency, and in-laws, Werner "Dick" & Genevieve Staugler, Viola & Quinn Hagedorn, Ralph & Virginia Staugler, Lester and Joan Staugler and Richard Staugler.
She was a 1936 graduate of Arcanum High School, Arcanum, Ohio. She was previously employed at the former Kreider's Clothing Store and Beach's Shoe Store, both of Fort Recovery.
Helen was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 345 and the Red Hat Society, both of Fort Recovery. She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, and the church's Altar Rosary Sodality.
Helen was an avid Fort Recovery Indian fan. She attended as many sporting events as she could and listened on the radio when she couldn't be there. She also enjoyed NASCAR racing and was a Jeff Gordon fan. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, with Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 4:00 pm-8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
