Jon Maras
Jon Alan Maras, age 59, of Celina, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at his residence.
Born on May 19, 1957 in Celina, he was the son of John & Doris (Ballinger) Maras. They survive in Celina, along with his Sister, Jill Ann Maras.
Also surviving are several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A 1975 Graduate of Celina High School, Jon later earned his Teaching Certification at Vantage Career Center in Van Wert.
He worked at Huffy Bicycles for 22 years, Tractors Incorporated as a machinist, Jackson's Garage, and then retired from Visions.
He was a life member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), and a member and Secretary of the Mercer County Sportsmen's Association. Jon was a talented artist, machinist, and woodworker, and a good friend to many.
Private Graveside Services were held at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina. Rev. Craig Cisco officiated.
