David Prine
David E. Prine, age 55, passed away on December 8, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. at his residence surrounded by his family, after a battle with cancer.
David was born December 3, 1961 in Lima, OH, to Carl and Leah (Hendricks) Prine who preceded him in death.
David had worked as a general laborer in many different capacities with various local businesses in and around the Lima and Celina areas.
He had the biggest heart and was there to lend a helping hand to anyone he knew. He enjoyed his grandchildren and watching football.
David is survived by his daughter, Sara (Shaun) E. Linson of Little Elm, TX, 4 grandchildren; Marquies Linson, Saniyah Linson, Shaunesty Linson and Serenity Linson, 8 siblings, Vickie Martinez, Chris Williams of Celina, Cindy Steiner of Lima, Laurie Prine of Lima, Joe (Jenny) Prine of Lima, Jeff Hoffman of Lima, Jennifer (Zach) Williams of Columbus, and Betsy (Eric Helman) Soria of Lima, his girlfriend Brenda Silliman of Celina, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. John's Catholic Church, 777 S. Main St., Lima, OH 45804. Officiating the Mass will be Fr. David Ross. Burial of cremated remains will be in Gethsemani Cemetery following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to a Hospice Charity of the donor's choice.
