Hazel Wycuff
Hazel R. Wycuff, 92, Coldwater "Macedon," Ohio, died February 3, 2017, at Celina Manor, Celina, Ohio.
She was born May 21, 1924, in Macedon, OH, to Harry and Dillie (Carmack) McDowell. On August 12, 1946, she married Richard Wycuff, who died August 21, 1992.
Surviving are her children, Anna (Dave) Heppeard of Mendon, OH, Ruth (Bill) Stetler of Willshire, OH, Tom (Deb) Wycuff of Celina, OH, Sue (Jim) Fisher of Fort Recovery, OH, Mary (Mike) Evers of Fort Recovery, OH, Dorothy (Dave) Gilbert of New Weston, OH, John (Theresa) Wycuff of St. Joe, OH, Jake (Becky) Wycuff of Macedon, OH, and Bill (Marilyn) Wycuff of Dunkirk, IN; a brother, Lester (Lola) McDowell of Celina, OH; 38 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Alice Wycuff of Celina, OH and a sister-in-law, Julie Remert of Celina, OH.
Preceding her in death were two sons, Junior Wycuff and Dale Wycuff; 3 grandchildren; her siblings, Carl McDowell, William McDowell, Mary Ellis and Margaret Roebuck, and her daughters-in-law, Vada Wycuff and Uni Wycuff.
Hazel was a member of the former Macedon Congregational Christian Church, Macedon, OH. She was a faith filled woman who enjoyed reading the Bible. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Services are 11:00 am Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, with her grandson, Pastor David Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Macedon Cemetery, Macedon, Ohio.
