Robert Leugers
Robert J. Leugers, 77, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on February 19, 2017, at Rest Haven, Greenville, Ohio.
He was born June 16, 1939, in Wendelin, OH, to the late Frank and Christina (Guggenbiller) Leugers. On June 24, 1961, he married Dolores (Rauh) Leugers, who died September 15, 2006. On June 17, 2009, he married Donna (Smith) Temple Leugers who died on July 17, 2013.
Surviving are his children, Susan (Tim) Moorman of Coldwater, OH, Norman (Angie) Leugers of St. Sebastian, OH, Kevin (Amy) Leugers of St. Henry, OH, Dennis (Jill) Leugers of Coldwater, OH, David (Christi) Leugers of St. Marys, OH, Teresa Leugers of Miami, FL, Ralph (Lisa) Leugers of St. Anthony, OH, Barbara (Imari) Jackson of El Paso, TX, Bridget (Brad) Canter of Mayfield, KY, Laura (Jeremy) Link of Maria Stein, OH, and Michelle (Jake) Ladd of Zebulon, NC; three step children, Richard (Julie) Temple of Pearisburg, VA, Larry Temple of Muncie, IN, and Linda (Dan) Redmond of Farmland, IN; two brothers, Mike (Mary) Leugers of Coletown, OH, and Clarence (Sue) Leugers of Versailles, OH; 23 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Mark (Deb) Rauh of St. Anthony, OH.
He was preceded in death by a son, Duane Leugers; a grandchild; a step grandchild; siblings, Ruth Ann Behr, Janet Coblentz and Carolyn Leugers; and a brother-in-law, John Rauh.
He was a 1957 graduate of Jackson High School, Union City, Ohio. He was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, Ohio. Bob enjoyed working with his hands and helping his family with any project.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Fr. Matthew Feist officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
