Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

Workers cut up a tree blown over by the wind Wednesday afternoon on St. Johns Road in Maria Stein. Mercer County EMA Director Mike Robbins this morning said high winds blew throughout the county on Wednesday from around noon to 5 p.m. Other than toppling a few trees onto county roads and downing some wires, no major damage was reported, he said. Gusts of 40 to 45 mph were recorded.
