ST. HENRY - Residents soon will pay higher sewer and water rates.
After much discussion, council members on Monday agreed to raise utility rates by $11 per month. Village administrator Ron Gelhaus said the increase would be $6 per month to the water improvement fund and $5 to the sewer improvement fund. [More]

CELINA - City officials on Monday night paid homage to two former longtime city public servants who recently died, Walter "Walt" Fleck and Ricki "Rick" Harner.
ST. MARYS - Cleanup at Elm Grove Cemetery went too far, according to some family members of the deceased.
Some arrived at the St. Marys cemetery to find flowers and other decorations that had been attached to their loved ones' headstones in a trash pile at the rear of the park.
