Periods of light snow can be expected tonight with some scattered snow showers then lingering into Monday morning. Snow totals of around an inch or less will be possible. Increasing winds later tonight and Monday morning will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting tonight and continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Betty Gaerke
Betty A. Gaerke, 83, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died April 3, 2017, at The Gardens at St. Henry, St. Henry, OH.
She was born April 6, 1933, in St. Henry, OH, to the late Joseph and Frances (Stelzer) Wuebker. On June 15, 1955, she married Joe Schwartz Jr., who died October 18, 1968. On July 31, 1970, she married Charles "Charlie" Gaerke, who survives. Charlie's first wife, Wilma (Uhlenhake) Gaerke, died in 1968.
Also surviving are her children, Bill Gaerke of Fort Recovery, Jack (Judy) Gaerke of Fort Recovery, Dale (Carolyn) Gaerke of Perrysburg, OH, Randy (Barb) Gaerke of Coldwater, OH, Donna (Mark) Grube of St. Marys, OH, Theresa (Bill) Delzeith of St. Henry, OH, Diane (Tim) Homan of Coldwater, Rob (Alice) Gaerke of Fort Recovery, Marie (Dave) Link of Fort Recovery, Jennifer (Brian) Ballard of Springboro, OH, and Tim (Julie) Gaerke of Fort Recovery; 36 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; a brother, Harold Wuebker of Sault Sainte Marie, MI; and in-laws, Marcy (Dick) Topp of Kettering, OH, Virginia Tangeman of Maria Stein, OH, Janet Gaerke of Fort Recovery, Dorothy Gaerke of Fort Recovery, Lillian Homan of Coldwater, Omer Klosterman of Montezuma, OH, and Marilyn Uhlenhake of Coldwater.
Preceding her in death is a son, James Schwartz; a daughter-in-law, Mary Gaerke; grandsons, Michael Homan and Steven Gaerke; siblings, Dorothy Kerber, Margie Hausfeld, Joan Fischer, Janis Wuebker, and Wilfred Wuebker; in-laws, Lorine Forthofer, Jerry Gaerke, Herb Gaerke, Leonard Gaerke, Harold Gaerke, Luella Franck, Bernard Gaerke, Virgil Gaerke, Mary Ann Homan, Henry Gaerke Jr., Paul Schwartz, Delbert Schwartz, Dorothy Brandewie, Tom Uhlenhake, Rita Klosterman, Ernie Uhlenhake, and Mary Lou Unrast.
She was a 1951 graduate of Minster High School, Minster, Ohio. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter and its Christian Mothers Sodality.
She enjoyed playing cards, traveling and the occasional visit to the casino. Most of all, Betty enjoyed being with her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio, Fr. Matthew Feist will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, St. Peter, Ohio. Betty will be buried on her 84th birthday.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
