* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:40 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Area students go back in time to test skills with ancient contest

CELINA - Area high school students tested their mettle in science, math and physics by facing off in the medieval art of trebuchet warfare.
Students from Parkway, Coldwater, Versailles and Arlington high schools met Thursday on the battlefield of the Mercer-Auglaize Counties YMCA. The teams of six launched squash balls at targets attached to their opponents' trebuchets and were judged on accuracy. The contest was sponsored by the Wright State University-Lake Campus Engineering Department. [More]
