* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Robert Falk
Robert V. "Bob" Falk, 89, of Lima passed away at 9:47 PM on Friday, May 26, 2017, at Lima Memorial Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit.
He was born on November 22, 1927, in Lima, to Max and Helen (Beck) Falk, who both preceded him in death. On May 9, 1953, he married Mary Ledwedge, who preceded him in death on January 30, 1991. On February 5, 1994, he married Jane (Pentenburg) Ruen, who survives in Lima.
Bob was a graduate of St. John's High School, Lima, and attended Xavier University. He proudly served his country as a member the United States Army Air Force in Japan. He retired in 1991 after a lifelong career in banking. He was a former member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys and a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lima, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and volunteered for various activities. Bob was also a member of the Knights of Columbus #2661, the VFW Post #1275, both of Lima and the American Legion Post #323, of St. Marys. He was a past President of The St. Marys Rotary Club. He was a volunteer at St. Rita's Medical Center and Lima Memorial Hospital, where he worked with mobile meals. Bob enjoyed vacationing in Michigan, photography and music. He was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Detroit Tigers. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are his children Bill (Carol) Falk of Hamilton, OH, Mary (Jack) Hutchinson of Batavia, OH, Chris (Judy) Falk of St. Marys, OH, and Pete (Sue) Falk of Minster, OH; his step-children Christine (Ed) Gonzales of Lima, Joseph Ruen of Lima, James Ruen of Lima, Kelly (Tom) Hasting of Canton, OH, and David (Melissa) Ruen of Delaware, OH; 11 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one on the way; two step-great-grandchildren; his sisters-in-law Catherine Weber of San Antonio, TX, Betty Bartlett of Midland, MI, and Mary Pentenburg of Lima; his brothers-in-law Pete (Marilyn Baker) Ledwedge of Loveland, OH, and Gerald Rhine of Lima, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Tom (Carol) Falk and his sisters Christine (Gene) Lehmkuhl and Helen (Barney) Hasson; his brothers-in-law Jim Bartlett, John (Julia), Louis (Dorothy), George (Fran), Tom and Dan Pentenburg; sisters-in-law Louise Pentenburg, Frances Rhine and Mary (Carl) Bowman.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel, 1170 Shawnee Road, Lima, OH, where a rosary will be prayed at 8:00 PM.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 240 W. Robb Ave., Lima, with Father Jim Szobonya officiating. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys, after a luncheon at St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lima.
