The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Bernice Roessner
Bernice Roessner, 93, of Coldwater, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 2nd, 2017 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born in Mercer County, Ohio on December 6, 1923. She was the daughter of the late William J. and Ona (Johnson) Regedanz. On July 10, 1946 she married Richard A. Roessner who died April 16, 2006.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Ann's Altar Society and a 1942 graduate of Celina High School. Bernice worked as a secretary at the Celina Group Insurance Co. 8 years, Jutte's IGA Foodliner for 27 years and Steele's Automotive.
Bernice was a big sports fan, especially of all Coldwater High School sports, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cincinnati Reds. She listened to them on the radio or TV. She enjoyed reading, golf, doing crossword puzzles and watching the Catholic religious station EWTN. Bernice loved to support and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by sons: Ron (Judy) Roessner of Coldwater, Mike (Jayne) Roessner of Defiance, OH. a sister: Dorothy Pruitt of Florence, KY. 5 grandchildren: Miranda (Matt) Knapke, Kelly (Mark) Reigelsperger, Jared (Michelle) Roessner, Lynn (Christopher) Ankney, Jessica (Stephen) Kontson and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Richard, five brothers; Clifford, Glenn, Forest, Gene and Leon Regedanz, a sister Inez Stedke, brothers in law: Sylvester Roessner, Wilfred Roessner and sister in law Adeline Pottkotter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 120 E. Main St. Coldwater, OH. at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 8th, 2017.
Visitation is 9:30-10:30 Saturday, an hour prior to services at the the church. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery.
