* At 704 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Elida to near Jackson Center, moving northeast at 70 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
* Locations impacted include... Dola, Fryburg, Montra, Huntersville, Uniopolis, Pfeiffer, Botkins, Jackson Center, State Route 195 at State Route 235, Roundhead, Grant, Kenton, Silver Creek, Jumbo, Lakeview, Patterson, Waynesfield, Wapakoneta, Cridersville, and St. Johns.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Virginia Mott
Virginia J. "Ginny" Mott, 86, Columbus, Ohio and formerly of Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on July 28, 2017, at Brookdale Assisted Living, Piqua, Ohio.
She was born October 2, 1930, in Detroit, MI, to the late Aldes and Goldie (McClung) Mott.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her siblings Marilyn Croll and Martin Mott.
She received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN and received her master's degree in nursing from the University of Colorado, Boulder, CO. She was employed at Riverside Hospital and Ohio State University Medical Center, both of Columbus, Ohio, as a nursing supervisor. She then retired from the Ohio Department of Health in Columbus, Ohio.
Ginny was a member of a ski club in Columbus and enjoyed playing tennis. After retirement, she volunteered in the concession stands at Ohio State games and various health clinics in Columbus, Ohio.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery. Calling is 12 noon-12:45 p.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
