CELINA - Jason Barhorst beat the heat - and everyone else - on Saturday at the Grand Lake Marathon.
The Sidney native captured the marathon title for the second straight year, completing the 26.2-mile race in a time of 2 hours, 56 minutes and 37.3 seconds. [More]

Teams playing in the Midwest Athletic Conference boys' and girls' golf tournaments on Saturday didn't need to warm up too much with the weather providing enough heat for all.
The heat didn't slow down the St. Henry boys at all as they collected the outright conference title with a blistering showing at the boys' tournament at the Mercer County Elks. [More]

CELINA - Volunteers Andrea McGee, Mitch McGee and Andrea Green stood in the scorching heat on Saturday morning, jamming to rock 'n' roll music while filling up plastic cups with water and Gatorade, patiently waiting for marathon runners to arrive just on the outskirts of Celina.
