Betty Pleiman
Betty A. Pleiman, age 82, of Coldwater, died on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born June 20, 1935 in Wapakoneta to the late Adrian & Blanche (Holtman) Grillot. On February 27, 1954, she married Robert A. Pleiman and he survives in Coldwater.
She is survived by children, Steven Pleiman & fiancée Lynda Cooper of Celina, Sue & Ken Ahrens of Coldwater, Tom & Linda Pleiman of Lebanon, Karan & Timothy Neal of Princeton, KY, Sharon & Bruce Miller of New Bremen; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings Alice & Paul Huelsman of Chickasaw, Dorothy & Dan Davidson of Sidney, Rose & Clete Magato of New Knoxville, Ruth Rentz of New Bremen, Mary & Bob Morrow of Urbana, Barb & Jim Botkin of The Villages, FL, Adrian Jr. & Jane Grillot of New Bremen and Dave & Sue Grillot of Mason; and in-laws, Ernie & Emma Pleiman of Spencerville, Tom & Maryln Pleiman of Scottsdale, AZ, and Salome Pleiman of Coldwater.
She is preceded in death by a son Mark; in-laws Harry Rentz, Alvera & Florian Stelzer, Art Pleiman, Richard & Lucille Fleck, Rose Ann & Ralph Post, Alice & Leonard Homan and Marge & Paul Dirksen.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, she enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, reading and shopping. Betty was an avid Duke Basketball fan and formerly worked at Sowar's Department Store and Roger's Flowers both in Coldwater.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Monday October 9, 2017 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 6 PM Sunday and 9 to 10 am Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
