At 621 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Ohio City, moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chattanooga, Neptune, Kossuth, State Route 116 at State Route 197, and Tama.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.

Erline Garman
Erline H. Garman age 85 of New Bremen, died on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:55 P.M. at the St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born on June 8, 1932, in New Bremen, the daughter of the late John F. and Clara (Wiehe) Topp. On August 11, 1954 she married Charles Garman in Chickasaw, and he survives in New Bremen.
Also surviving are her children Sandy (John) Bergman of Minster, Tim Garman, Keith (Yvonne) Garman, and Amy (Robin) Webster all of New Bremen. There are also sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, and a sister Louise Barga, left to cherish her memory.
Along with her parents, Erline was preceded in death by a son John Garman, and a daughter Janet Harrod, and her siblings Louis Topp, Carl Topp, Frederick Topp, Irma Shroyer, and Wilhelmina Settlage.
Erline was a 1950 graduate of New Bremen High School, where she was the Valedictorian of her class. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen, where she has been the President of the parish council, and served on the funeral luncheon committee.
She was a member of the New Bremen American Legion Post 241 Auxiliary, and was a dedicated New Bremen Cardinal sports fan. She enjoyed attending the various sporting events of her grandchildren, playing cards, and having Wednesday morning breakfast with her friends.
Erline was a homemaker, and had also worked as a cashier of the former Howell's IGA of New Bremen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the Church of the Holy Redeemer of New Bremen, with Rev. Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Interment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery of New Bremen.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 2:00 until 6:00 P.M., at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, and on Monday from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. at the church, followed by the praying of the Rosary at 10:00 A.M.
