Charlene Dailey
Charlene Dailey, 96, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Adams Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Thursday, April 14, 1921 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late Calvin H. Hamrick and the late Fausta I. (Skidmore) Hamrick. She married Mirdeth (LaMoil) Dailey on November 17, 1944 in Celina, Ohio and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Brethren in Christ Church in Willshire, Ohio; now known as Praise Point Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Larry D. (Kim) Dailey & Carl W. (Marna) Dailey both of Decatur; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jan Edwin Dailey; as well as a four sisters, Nellie Book, Geneva Tallentire, Lois Brandenburg, and Ruth Sudduth.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Praise Point Church with Pastor Brad Kittle & Pastor Mark Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, October 21 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to Praise Point Church.
