* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Eileen Dietz
Eileen L. Dietz, 85, Saint Marys, died 2:35 A.M. Monday, October 30, 2017, at Otterbein Saint Marys Retirement Community.
She was born April 27, 1932, in McCartyville, Ohio, the daughter of Anton and Elizabeth (Bertke) Poeppelman. She married Herman Dietz on November 8, 1952, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney; he preceded her in death on June 2, 2017.
She is survived by her children: Ruth (John) Campbell of New Bremen; James (Cindy) Dietz of Akley, Minnesota; Louis (Vicki) Dietz of Saint Marys; Steven (Susan) Dietz of Logan, Ohio; Rosemary (Chip) Felver of Celina; Thomas (Laura) Dietz of St. Jacob, Illinois; Daniel (Kylle) Dietz of Hilliard, Ohio. She is survived by 17 grandchildren; by 27 great-grandchildren; she is also survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Poeppelman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; by her siblings: Andrew (Germaine) Poeppelman; Marie (Elmer) Severt; Urban (Hilda) Poeppelman; Alfred (Georgie) Poeppelman; Roman (Blanche) Poeppelman; Mildred (Jerome) Drees; Clete (Dorothy) Poeppelman; Esther (Charlie) Kohnen; Margaret (Herb) Severt; Betty (Ben) Aselage. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Suzanne Campbell.
Eileen graduated from Holy Angels High School in Sidney in 1950. She retired from Kmart in Saint Marys. She loved playing bingo, and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, Father Barry Stechschulte, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Saint Marys.
Friends may call from 2-5 P.M. Friday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to Friends of Holy Rosary School. Friends may also call from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
