Jane Baker
Annabelle Jane (Clutter) Baker age 87, from Kenansville, Florida, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on the morning of Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Cornerstone Hospice Care.
Jane was born on October 15, 1930 in Rockford, Ohio to Samuel and Lela Clutter. She graduated from Rockford High School. In 1948, she married the love of her life, Jake Baker. They lived a life of marital bliss for 69 years.
Together they raised 3 sons and lived in Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Colorado, and Missouri until they retired and settled in Kenansville, Florida. She worked most of her life as an office manager. After retirement she spent time with family and friends. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies, volunteered for the Council on Aging, loved to play bingo, go to garage sales, and loved going on walks around her neighborhood.
Jane is survived by her sister June, her brother Raymond, her husband Jake, her son Todd & wife Martha, her son Sam & wife Carrol, her son Daryl & wife Cheri, 5 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, many nieces, nephews and cousins whom all she loved very much.
Preceding Jane in death, her parents, Samuel and Lela Clutter & her siblings Mary Ellen Price, Albert Clutter, Dale Clutter, Franklin Clutter, and Wayne Clutter.
The family of Jane Baker would be pleased if you joined them on November 11th at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate her beautiful life at First Missionary Baptist Church, 760 South Canoe Creek Road, Kenansville, Florida 34739. Please refrain from wearing colors of mourning, as this is a celebration of life, and Jane loved bright colors. Lunch will be served after in the church hall.
