Patricia Kaufman
Patricia J. Kaufman, age 70, passed away November 24, 2017 at The Ohio State James Hospital.
Pat (Schoch) was born on March 22, 1947 in Celina, OH, the oldest child of Margaret and Thomas Schoch. She was raised on the family's farm near St. Anthony, OH.
Pat was a graduate of Coldwater High School and Saint Elizabeth School of Nursing in Dayton, OH. She worked for over 40 years as a registered nurse working in the operating room. After she retired from nursing, she volunteered at the American Red Cross in Colorado for 8 years.
She loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. A loving wife and mother, she was married to James Kaufman for 45 years.
Her helpfulness and humor will be greatly missed by many including her daughters, Jennifer (Mark) Wenrick of Seattle, WA and Jill (Austin) Hawley of Upper Arlington, OH; grandchildren, Katherine, Charlotte and Colin Wenrick, and Alice, Owen and Paige Hawley; brothers, James (Noreen) Schoch, of Mount Vernon, OH, and John Schoch of Geneva, IN; many dear friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the staff at The OSU James Hospital, OSU Brain and Spine Hospital and Dodd Hospital who lovingly cared for Pat.
Memorial Mass will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Rd., Upper Arlington, OH.
Family and friends are welcome at Jill and Austin Hawley's home following the Mass.
