Pattie Henschen
Pattie J. Henschen, 86, New Knoxville, Ohio, died 9:55 A.M. Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at her residence following a short illness.
She was born July 19, 1931, in New Madison, Ohio, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Neff) Burkett. She married Victor Henschen on October 12, 1952, in Greenville, Ohio; he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by her children: Steve (Janet) Henschen of Knoxville, Tennessee; Chris (Coni) Henschen of New Knoxville; Tami Henschen (Rick) Stetser of Princeton, West Virginia. She is survived by her 11 grandchildren; by 25 great-grandchildren; by her siblings: Bill Burkett of Greenvillle, Ohio; Jerry Burkett of Hollansburg, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her siblings: Gene Burkett; Betty Bailey; Hazel Hileman.
Pattie was a 1949 graduate of Greenville High School. She assisted in the operation of the family dairy farm, and was an exceptional seamstress. She enjoyed making crafts, and was a member of Calvary Chapel Baptist Church in Minster of 46 years.
Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Calvary Chapel Baptist Church, 71 North Hamilton Street, Minster, Ohio, Pastor Rick Setser and Pastor Bob Warnick, officiants. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Friday at the Calvary Chapel Church in Minster, where memorial gifts may be given to support Bearing Precious Seed Ministries, for the printing and distribution of Bibles.
