* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity can be especially hazardous as warm overnight temperatures will provide little relief. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Gilbert Muhlenkamp
Gilbert Silvester Muhlenkamp, age 89 of Celina, Ohio passed away at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at the Briarwood Village Nursing Home in Coldwater.
He was born on March 27, 1928 in Trinity, IN to the late August & Olivia (Schroer) Muhlenkamp. On April 21, 1951 he married the love of his life for the past 66 years Edna Luthman, who lives in Celina.
Also surviving are his children Ken (Ann) Muhlenkamp of Celina, Barb (Dave) Evers of Burkettsville, Karen (Brian) Klosterman of Celina, Sandy (Jeff) Van Goeye of Kalamazoo, MI, 9 grandchildren Scott Muhlenkamp, Gregg Muhlenkamp, Derek Forsthoefel, Cailtlin Evers, Tara Diller, Eric Klosterman, Layne Klosterman, Jess DaVries, Kristin Van Goeye, 2 great grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law Robert (Bernie) Muhlenkamp of Ft. Recovery and two sisters and brother-in-law Marceil (John) Alig of Portland and Elizabeth (Shawn) Kirkpatrick of Middletown.
Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters Bonnie Muhlenkamp, Jane Forsthoefel, a granddaughter Kelsy Forsthoefel, brother and sister-in-law Marvin (Delores) Muhlenkamp and his sister and brother-in-law Edna (Paul) Rauh.
Gilbert was a Farmer all of his life. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. He enjoyed his family and loved to play cards.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday Jan. 8, 2018 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Rev. Vince Wirtner C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 7, 2018 and from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Monday morning at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
