Celina's John Robinson had a strong day in capturing the 2018 Western Buckeye League boys' diving championship in action held in Defiance on Thursday. Robinson is the first Celina boy to win the league crown since C.J. Kimmel in 2015.
The Celina Athletic Hall of Fame will induct two new members on Saturday between the boys' junior varsity and varsity basketball games at the Fieldhouse. This year, Mick Gabes and Betsy (Hellwarth) Rolfes will be honored for their contributions.
