CELINA - Two city councilmen at Monday night's special meeting floated the idea of creating an ice-skating area within the city's park system.
After briefly discussing the matter, though, officials agreed to explore the concept in more detail at a future parks and recreation committee meeting.
Officials plan to construct a locally designed conservation practice that includes wetland cells and plants in a flood-prone farm field east of Rockford.
