Snowfall of at least an inch is expected across the region, with up to 2 inches possible. There is also the potential for brief intense bursts of snow, especially between 10 PM and 3 AM. Where these brief bursts of snow occur, visibility may drop suddenly, creating additional travel hazards tonight.
West winds will become northwest overnight, gusting as high as 30 to even 35 mph. This may cause blowing snow over roadways, even as the snow ends after 3 AM.

Patricia Hicks
Patricia Leigh (Gross) Hicks, 67 years old, was found deceased in her home in Vinita, Oklahoma, on Jan. 26, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her son, husband, father, mother and younger sister.
She is survived by her sister, Noreen Bushong of Mendon and her sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca (Gross) and Robert Marley of Celina. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and one great-great-nephew and great-great niece.
Pat had a heart of gold and loved her family unconditionally. Because her husband was part Native American, she had a great interest in them and their crafts. She learned to do beadwork and clothing. Patricia will be missed by those of us who loved her.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
