Gusty southwest winds will become westerly this afternoon. The strong winds and the recently fallen snow is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow, especially across rural and open areas. Firefighters gather in front of a smoldering mobile home that caught fire Thursday afternoon in the 8300 block of Deep Cut Road. Members of Mendon, Rockford and Spencerville fire departments responded to the call at about 3:30 p.m., and the blaze was reportedly under control by 3:48 p.m.
