A Celina firefighter swings an ax while tending to a structure fire at 125 N. Enterprise St. Apt. 2 at about 12:44 p.m. Sunday. Lt. Chad Willrath said the renter was not at home when the blaze ignited but arrived to find the apartment full of smoke. Four dogs were inside and one died. The cause is not yet known but the blaze reportedly caused about $30,000 in damage, Willrath said. Ten firefighters, two trucks and an ambulance responded. The Celina Police Department helped with traffic control.
