During the early morning hours, winds will increase ahead of an approaching low pressure. Wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through the afternoon. Some gusts up to 45 mph are possible at times. Winds decrease during the evening hours but remain elevated in the 20 to 25 mph range. Properly secure outdoor objects and seasonal decorations.

Frahm Pike crash

No injuries were reported after a 2007 Mazda sedan collided with a 2017 Chevrolet van at the intersection of Frahm Pike and State Route 118 just after 5 p.m. Wednesday. According to a Mercer County Sheriff's Office report, the van, driven by David D. Howell, 50, Wapakoneta, failed to stop at the stop sign while eastbound on Frahm Pike and was struck by the Mazda, which was driven by Christina Lindemeyer, 44, Celina, who was northbound on State Route 118.
