Arnold Pax
Arnold Joseph Pax, 66, Mendon, OH, died 7:05 p.m. Wednesday April 25, 2018 at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born July 7, 1951 in Quebec City in Quebec, Canada. Along with his brother, he was adopted from the St. Agatha's Home For Wayward Children by Albert and Mary Ann (Homan) Pax.
He is survived by: a close friend Carol Baldauf of Mendon, OH; many cousins and close friends in the area.
He was preceded in death by: adoptive parents Arnold and Mary Ann Pax; brother Albert Allan Pax.
He attended I.C. School, was a graduate of Celina Senior High School (Class of 1970) and then, studied automotive technology in Cincinnati. He worked for many years at New Idea Corp. in Coldwater, OH.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, VFW Post #5713 and Eagles Lodge Aerie #1291, all in Celina, OH.
His favorite pastimes included fishing, working on automobiles and small engines. He treasured time spent socializing with his friends, and relished being the "life of the party."
Graveside services are scheduled to begin 12:30 p.m. Thursday May 3, 2018 at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina, with the Rev. Vincent Wirtner, officiating.
