Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Virginia Zahn

Virginia A. "Ginny" Zahn, age 77, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, died at her home.

She was born September 7, 1940, in Celina, OH, to the late Richard and Aldora (Klosterman) Zahn.

Surviving are her siblings, Richard Jr. (Jean) Zahn of Coldwater, OH, Dennis (Jane) Zahn of Coldwater, OH, Ronald Zahn of St. Henry, OH, and Margaret (Gary) Wilkerson of Coldwater, OH.

Preceding her in death is her sister-in-law, Debra Zahn.

Ginny retired from Fort Recovery Industries, Fort Recovery, and in her free time she enjoyed fishing and completing puzzles.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, May 25, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery is in charge of arrangements.
