Mary Lou Lehman
Mary Lou Lehman, age 77, a former resident of Rockford, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at her residence in Medway.
She was born April 8, 1941 in Rockford to Clarence A. & Dorothy A. (Dawson) Emerson, who are both deceased. Mary Lou and David F. Lehman were married Dec. 28, 1976, and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2006.
She leaves behind her three sons, Jerry L. (Judy) Lehman of Medway, OH, Farron James Sites of Van Wert and Terry Lynn Sites of Lima and her six grandchildren, Shyann Lehman of Decatur, IN, Shannon Lehman of Medway and Dakota Lehman of Decatur, IN, Jessica and Dylan Hoover and Jarrett Burke, all of Medway. Surviving great-grandchildren are: Arabella L. Longsworth of Decatur, IN and Carter T. Hoover and Kelly J. Hoover of Medway.
Surviving sisters are: Gloria & Fred Vann, Helen Louise & Stanley Baker , Suzanne Ilene & Arthur Christie and Betty Elizabeth ( and the late Larry) Houser, all of Rockford, and many nieces and nephews.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by brothers, Norman Emerson and James Emerson and an infant brother, William Emerson.
A graduate of Rockford High School, Mary Lou was employed at the former Huffy Corporation in Celina and at Ficosa in Berne, IN. As a child, she attended the Nazarene Church in Rockford and was of the Protestant faith. Mary Lou was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Celina VFW Post #5713.
Mary Lou loved all animals and enjoyed gardening. She loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 30, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Calling Hours are from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
