* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:40 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

George Hesson
George W. Hesson, 99, of Yorkshire Ohio passed away on May 29, 2018 at State of the Heart Care Center in Greenville.
  He was born on October 30, 1918 in Yorkshire, Ohio to the late Franklin and Susan (Keifer) Hesson.
  In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris (Booker) Hesson on April 22, 2013. They were married on May 17, 1941; his siblings and their spouses, Franklin (Virginia) Hesson, Leona (Al) Noble, Esther (Dean) Spittler, Elra (Lucille) Hesson, Louis (Bessie) Hesson, and Dorothy (Bill) Cumberworth; his in-laws, Lavera and Taft Gibson, and June Booker; and one great grandchild.
  George was a life-long farmer and served as a Patterson Township Trustee for 20 years. He loved to talk and was an amazing storyteller. George enjoyed tinkering. People would bring him their broken machines and he would bring them back to life.
  George is survived by his two sons, George Larry (Joan) Hesson of North Star, and Robert Dean (Paula) Hesson of Greenville; his grandchildren, Donna (Alan) Jutte of Coldwater, Deb (Bill) Hemmelgarn of St. Henry, Doug (Sherry) Hesson of Versailles, Stacey Pond of Springfield, Ohio and Sherri Robinson of Fairborn, Ohio; his step-grandchildren, Angie Jett of San Francisco, California, Sunni and Chad Ogden of Savanah, Georgia, Mary Jett of Celina, and Becky Jett of Columbus, Ohio. George also leaves behind 15 great grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren; his brother-in-law, Donald Booker of Greenville; and countless nieces and nephews.
  A Celebration of George's life will be held at 5 PM, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Tribute Funeral Homes, 1000 N. Broadway Street, Greenville. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles.
  Family and friends may visit Saturday from 3 PM until the time of the service at 5 PM at the Funeral home.
