Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Harvey Huff
Harvey D. Huff, 63, St. Marys, OH died peacefully 6:32 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Lima Memorial Health System, surrounded by his children.
He was born December 28, 1954 in Lackey, KY to Claude and Maggie (Banks) Huff.
Survivors include: daughter Amy Jo (Tony) Perry of St. Marys, OH; son Harvey Allen (Sondra) Huff of Harrod, OH; daughter Amber Jo (Robert) Ickes of St. Marys, OH; son Aaron Charles Huff of Berne, IN; daughter Maggie Sue (John Amspaugh) Huff of Sidney, OH; grandchildren: Travis, Kayla, Tabitha, Jordan, Trisha, Courtney, Kiersey, Austin, Harmony, Aaliyah, Leslie, Todd, Gracie and Jace; great-grandchildren: Winston and Louis; brother Eugene (Ruth) Huff of Georgia; sister-in-law Betty Huff of St. Marys, OH; sister-in-law Julia Huff of St. Marys, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: parents Claude and Maggie Huff; son Todd D. Huff; grandson Landynn Coverstone; grandson Deacon Ickes; sister Anna Drummond; brother Charlie Huff; brother Harold "Pete" Huff.
Mr. Huff was an owner-operator of a semi truck for many years. Harvey's favorite pastimes included working on anything mechanical (especially automobiles) and spending quality time with his family.
Rites are scheduled to begin 1:00 p.m. Friday June 29, 2018 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, OH.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
