* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Drunken driver leaves trail in field

An aerial photo released by Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey shows crop damage that occurred July 15 in the area of Brown and Meyer roads outside of Celina. The damage reportedly occurred when Ernesto Vasquez, 35, Fort Wayne, drove off the roadway and through several fields, according to the sheriff's office. Vasquez has been charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under license suspension and operating without reasonable control. The aerial photo was taken by a drone that an individual had donated to the department. "We in Mercer County are fortunate to have caring citizens who help us gain the tools we use and are also fortunate that this community supports local law enforcement," Grey said in a news release The drone is also used for accident reconstruction and missing-person searches as well as a variety of other things.
