* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Richard Schneidt
Richard S. Schneidt, 88, passes away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at 3:25 a.m., in Franciscan Health St. Elizabeth East, Lafayette, IN.
He was born April 1, 1930, in Goodland, IN to the late Frank and Bertha Goetz Schneidt. A graduate of the Goodland High School, class of 1948. He spent time praying for his family and extended family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Richard was a farmer, farming all of his life and in the winter months he worked for DeMeter. Elevator, Goodland, IN and was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Goodland, IN.
On Nov. 26, 1955, he married the love of his life Wanda L. Ridenoor, in Fowler, IN, and she preceded him in death Feb. 2, 2013, in Rensselaer, IN.
He is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Torbet, (husband, Steve), Rensselaer, IN, and Joan Sondgeroth, Earl Park, IN and one son Jim Schneidt, (wife, Angie) Celina, OH. Grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of seven, one brother Kenneth Schneidt, (wife, Nola), Wolcott, IN, and one brother-in-law, Marvin Christopher, Kentland, IN.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Goodland, IN from 10:00-10:15 a.m. (CDT), a funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. (CDT) with Rev. Robert Bernotas, officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goodland, IN.
Memorials may be given in his name to St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Goodland, IN.
